GGFA member Bob Inhoff writes of a Sonoma County wnery that may be haunted by a Goff ghost and other Goff-related topics.

Video: How to Find Valuable Documentation Using Un-indexed Records at FamilySearch.org

FamilySearch.org has millions of rolls of microfilmed records. Only a small portion has been indexed and is available for online search.

For many years if you wanted to search for non-indexed records, you had to order the mircofilm roll, have it sent to your nearest Family History Center and then go to the center to search the film. But Family Search has been placing digital images of many of its microfilms online.

More than 30 million records are being added each month. There is genealogical gold in these records, but you'll never find it by searching the index. Watch this video to see how GGFA member Bob Inhoff has successfully found valuable clues in these gigantic genealogical haystacks.
