Anthony Goff married Sarah Polley in 1656 in Woburn MA. Later moved to Swansea or Rehoboth, MA. Died after 1727.

This is a place to ask your questions about the Goff-Gough Family. A great place, also, to share news about your Goff-Gough family.

The Goff/Gough Surname DNA Study continues to grow, with over 150 participants today. To date, this leading edge scientific study of Goff/Gough genealogy has identified 15 genetically distinct Goff/Gough family groups. The project initially focused on Y-DNA and was limited to males with paternal Goff/Gough lineages. The Study now embraces autosomal DNA testing so that any male or female with a Goff/Gough/etc. ancestor in their family tree can participate. Even with these successes, we know that many Goff/Gough/etc. families are not yet represented in the DNA Study. Now is a great time to join the Goff/Gough Surname DNA Study. Ask your questions and discuss your experience here.
