SCOTTS Hill - Mrs. Vernell White, 71, of Scotts Hill, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2005 in Puryear, TN. Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Luther and Pearl (GOFF) SHANNON. She was a homemaker.
She was the wife of Carl WHITE of Scotts Hill. Other survivors include her daughters, Deborah TAYLOR of South Fulton and July WILKINS (Reed) of Parsons and Carla BARR (David) and Freda MITCHELL (Steve) both of Scotts Hill; her son, Charlie WHITE (Diane) of Scotts Hill; her sister, Louelleh ARTIS of Kalamazoo, MI and a brother James SHANNON (Jessie Mae) of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Reed's Chapel in Scotts Hill, TN on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. Interment willow (sic) follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Scotts Hill, TN.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 am to the time of service.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, July 17 at Reeds Chapel in Scotts Hill, TN. Interment followed at Fellowship Cemetery in Scotts Hill.
