**French, William Earl, 85, of 708 Time Drive, Apartment 1, Owensboro, died Thursday at his home. Survivors include two stepsons, James C. Sharp of Madison, Tenn., and Jerry Lilostanky of Columbus, Ohio; three stepdaughters, Helen Harrison and Beverly Gipe, both of Owensboro and Lois Mack if Binghamton, N.Y.; 24 stepgrandchildren; and 15 stepgreat-grandchildren. Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Whitesville. Visitation is after 1 p.m. today at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Editor's note: Several survivors were omitted from William Earl French's obituary in Saturday's edition. He was born in Union County, was a retired carpenter and farmer, and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, William "Bill" French of Rochelle, Ill., and Glenn French of Whitesville; two daughters, Pansy Manning of Oakland City, Ind., and Martha Wathen of Sandwich, Ill.; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allen French of Indianapolis and Dorris French of Morganfield; and a sister, Helen Hammons of Morganfield. Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Whitesville.
