      Have you hearf of Ellen Gough married to Samuel Snider, a blacksmith from Taylorsville, Ky in Spencer County? They were married Jan 17, 1839. They were my g-g-grandparents. They had 13 children. Lousia B.,Elizabeth,William T.,Anna Bell,Harriett,Fanny,Mary,Maria Josephine,Samuel,Caroline, Burnette, James H.,Hiram,Joseph & Theodore (twins)and Kate. Kate was my g-grandmother. She married William H. Dugay. Kate died in 1938. William H. Dugay died about 1898 in St. Louis, Mo. Thier daughter, Etta Marie Dugay Helton was my grandmother. I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE WHERE SHE'S BURIED. SHE MAY BE BURIED ON THE INGRAM FARM OFF ASHES CREEK ROAD ABOVE DOE RUN IN SPENCER COUNTY,KY. HER HUSBAND, SAMUEL SNIDER IS BURIED IN THE "OLD PIONEER CEMETERY" IN TAYLORSVILLE, KY. BUT THERE IS NO NAME OR DATES ON THE HERD-STONE OTHER THAN HIS. I THINK ELLEN WAS BORN 8/25/1806 AND DIED 8/27/1839. I GOT TNE NAMES OF THEIR CHILDREN FROM THE KY. CENSUS AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY AND COURTHOUSE IN TAYLORSVILLE, KY. THAT'S WHERE MY FAMILY IS FROM.
