  Emil's cousin introduced him to Yvonne Gough. Yvonne's first husband, Noflet DeSheilds, died in the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium. Noflet is the younger brother of Frank DeShields who was married to Yvonnne's sister Elizabeth DeShields Gough. Emil and Yvonne were married at St. Benedict Church in Evansville, IN. Yvonne's brother, Thomas Sherman Gough, and his wife Rose Marie Drexler Gough stood up for them. They moved to Florida and worked with his parents in the Jewelry and watchmaking business. Emil didn't like Florida so they moved to Owensboro KY, back to Florida and finally to California. They both died in California.
