She loved spending time with her family and friends and boating on the Ohio River. Marianne had a quick smile and friendly word for everyone. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Patrick Retter, her children Shannon Stufflebeam, Emil Miller II, Derrick (Andrea) Retter, Ashley Retter and Samantha (Derek) Ostendorf, her three Sisters Connie Garrett, Pam (Gary) Horrocks, and Theresa Alvey, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Debbie Marks and her beloved dog, Sally. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
