      The Last Will of Mary Gough
      In the name of God Amen. October the thirty first seventeen hundred forty three I Mary Gough of St. Mary's County in the province of Maryland, widow being very sick & weak of body , but of perfect mind & memory, thanks be given unto God, therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appoint for all once to die do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament,that is to say principally, and first of all I give and reccomend my soul unto the hands of God who gave it, and my body I reccomend to the earth to be buried in Christian decent burial at the discreation of my Executor nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall Receive again my mighty powers of God. And as touching such worldly Estate, wherwith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give devise and dispose of in the following manner & form.

      Item I give and bequeath to my loving Daughter Anastatia Gough, Ten pounds Sterling to be paid to her when she shall arrive at the age of sixteen years, or on the day of her marriage.

      Item I give and bequeath to my said daughter Anastatia Gough all my thirds of my husband Stephan Gough's Estate Item my will is that all my just debts be equally paid.

      Item my will is that my son Ignatius Gough before himself at the age of Eighteen years, but not to receive my part of his Estate till he arrives, at the age of Twenty one years, and for the fulfilling performing & Executing of this my last will, and testament, I constitute appoint and ordain my loving brother John Norris Executor of this last will & Testament, & I do hereby utterly disallow revoke & disannul, all & every other will or wills by me heretofore made, Ratifying and confirming , this and no other to be my last will and Testament, In witness, wherof I have here unto set my hand and seal, the Day, and year first above written.
