    Dear Bev, I just this evening checked my e-mail for the first time in about 5 days and discovered the new information from you. I really don't have much at all on my ancestors and you are giving me lots of information that I never knew. My father's name was Louis Vincent Waller and he had one sister and three brothers. Mary Waller who married Jay Cobb and she lived all her married life in Kansas where Jay was born and raised. I'm not sure how she met him. The brothers were Harris, Bernard and Burton. I am pretty sure my grandfather's name was William and I don't know right at the moment what his father was named. I remember Mary Ella Waller who married the "Clements". We called her Aunt El.

    I will have to do some major searching before we can get all of this together and when things get on some sort of schedule around our house, I will try to do that. Thank you so much for sharing with me and I hope that sometime in the next few months, I will have some answers to your questions. Looking forward to seeing you and John again on the 22nd at the Pizza Parlor in Newburgh. I drove by it when I went to the beauty shop last Saturday, so I know exactly where it is.     Lynn was born in Morganfield, KY on November 11, 1923. He was preceded in death by his parents; Louis Vincent Waller and Galena Elizabeth Bartley Waller; 4 Brothers: Louis Waller, Jr.; Tom Waller, Don Waller, and Lowell Waller; 1 sister; Mary Virginia Buffington.
    He was the Retired Owner of Lynn Waller Lakeside Properties where he was a Real Estate Broker & Appraiser. He was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII where he was severely wounded at the Battle of Leyte. He was a Recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. A member of the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, VFW, a life member of the American Legion, Past member of the National Association of Realtors and the Kentucky Association of Realtors where he served on several committees. He was a charter member of the Pennyrile Board of Realtors where he served as past president two times. He was a Stock Broker with Indian Finance in Evansville, a Banker with Citizens Bank, and served on the Board of Directors of the Travelers Protective Association and a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with military honors. King's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    James D. "Pops" Waller, age 76, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, March
    18, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center.

    Pops was owner and operator of Pizza Oven for the last 33 years. He was a
    graduate of Memorial High School in 1951 and was an avid sports enthusiast,
    supporting University of Evansville and all Memorial sports - Varsity and
    Reserve crews alike. He also was a member of the Memorial High School
    Athletic Booster Club and was a season ticket-holder for the Evansville
    Otters. Pops loved traveling and visiting the national parks, especially
    Yellowstone, and loved going to the East coast in the Fall to see the
    changing of the leaves, all in his "trusty" van.

    He is survived by daughters, Catherine Ann Fickas and Beth M. Waller, both of
    Evansville; sons, Dr. James Waller, Jr. (Krista); and Jose Lopez (Billie Jo),
    both of Evansville; grandchildren, Heather Hazen (Chris), Samantha VanVactor,
    Emily Thiel (Zachary), Joey Waller, Dustin Waller, Sarah Waller, Mariellen
    Waller and Michael Waller; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Cecilia Fredrich,
    of Little Rock, Ark.; and brothers, Fred Waller, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and
    Lynn Waller, of Cadiz, Ky.

    Pops was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Waller, in 1997; daughter,
    Nancy Bitter, in 2002; and son, Joseph L. Waller, in 2008.

    Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home East
    Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714.

    Funeral services will be on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor
    Chad Eckels officiating.

    Entombment will be in Park Lawn Mausoleum.
